Sergio Roffo was born in San Donato, Italy in 1953. He was inspired by the work of traditional American painters, such as Inness and Bierstaadt while studying at Vesper George School of Art located in Boston, Massachusetts. Roffo’s work is known for its accurate perspective and remarkable sense of light.
His precise luminous depictions of the New England landscape have been included in many museum exhibitions as well as privately owned collections. Mr. Roffo is one of the youngest artists to be named a Copley Master by the Copley Society of Boston. He is also a member of the Guild of Boston Artists.
