Lorenza Cavali

Lorenza Cavalli graduated with honors from the Art School of Cremona, and then studied painting at Brera Fine Arts Academy in Milan, where she currently lives and works. Cavalli has received a scholarship from the elite École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts à la Villa Arson in Nice, and has attended an Artist's Residency at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan.

While at Brera, Cavalli was chosen as the sole artist for a significant project about the nautical world, which led her to create artworks appreciated by the most prestigious protagonists of the sailing community in Italy, France, Switzerland, Holland, Russia, United States, India, China, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates.

Cavalli's paintings are reminiscent of American Realism, from which she draws much inspiration in creating studies of the pictorial rendering of light.
