Bryan Grose, born in upstate NY and raised in Michigan, has been painting for over twenty years. Having traveled nationally and internationally, he has drawn inspiration from modernism, architecture, music and industry. Drawing comparisons between cities such as Detroit and Berlin has provided him with experiences that translate into visual narrative. 

 

He states "I try and capture on canvas what I see and experience; places in cities, sounds and people.  Time used to travel, atmospheres and thoughts created by this.  The take away from it all.  It's aesthetics to me are multilayered, have a deeper meaning and are abstract. This is what I try and produce artistically."

 

He has shown his artwork in New York, Minneapolis and Scottsdale and beyond, currently residing and working in Detroit, Michigan.
