Christy Peterson is an American oil painter. Raised in the Southern California citrus belt and now living outside of Boston, she is known for her saturated use of color. Her palette is influenced by the bright sun drenched landscape of her childhood. Her inspiration ranges from graphic packaging design labels to the deep verdant green of oak trees in summer.
In over 30 years of painting Ms. Peterson has created and sold more than 3000 works of art. Her pieces have been published and can be found in galleries, corporate collections, government buildings, and celebrity homes.
