Darlene Pearse's ambition is to create paintings that communicate her love of nature and the emotions it can awaken within her. A self-taught artist, she began sketching and painting at an early age in Corpus Christi, Texas. She now resides in Naples, Florida, where she continues pursuing her life long passion of art. She is frequently hiking and canoeing the State and National parks of South West Florida in constant search of new idea's and reference material for her paintings.
Darlene's work is highly sought after by both private and corporate collectors. Her work hangs in numerous collections throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. She has exhibited in more than fifty nationally juried shows winning many best in show and merit awards.
