Monique Sakellarios
Monique Sakellarios has an extremely distinct style. Her use of lavish
purples combined with warm tones merge to create beautiful, vast
landscapes. Her well-defined technique was nurtured while she studied in
Cairo, Egypt at the Leonardo Da Vinci School of Arts as well as the American
University in Cairo.
Her work has been shown in numerous solo exhibits as well as in many
juried competitions. Monique is a member of Oil Painters of America and
Hudson Valley Art Association as well as many others. She is also a
Signature Member and Governor of the National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society .
Monique Sakellarios has been published in numerous areas including
The Artist's Magazine , Arts Around Boston and International Artists. She
also was featured on the cover page of the 2001 Nashua Chamber of
Commerce Membership Directory.
